The Commissioner has a management team which meets with him regularly, to make decisions on the day to day operation of his office. Meetings are minuted, and the minutes published. There are also office policies and procedures directing how the office is run.
The Commissioner has a management team made up of the Commissioner and his three Heads of Department:
- Maire McCormack, Head of Policy
- Katie Brown, Head of Participation and Education
- Stephen Grounds, Head of Corporate Services
The Team holds a formal meeting each month to plan the work of the Commissioner's office, review performance, and decide policy and resource issues - minutes of these meetings from June 2011 are available on our website, and minutes from these meetings prior to June 2011 are available on request.
Where the Management Team needs to discuss an item in private (usually personnel matters relating to individual staff terms and conditions), it may hold an Executive Team meeting and this is minuted separately. Executive Team minutes are not published.
