Working with SCCYP

Care Action Group

Scotland's Commissioner for Children and Young People (SCCYP) has teamed up with the Scottish Throughcare and Aftercare Forum to form a Care Action Group that will work towards promoting postive change in the care system.

In autumn 2006 eight young people aged 14-21 were appointed to the group. They all have experience of being in care (residential care, foster care, secure care or respite care) and are familiar with issues in and around the care system.
